Spectral analysis for a multi-dimensional split-step quantum walk with a defect

چکیده
This paper studies the spectrum of a multi-dimensional split-step quantum walk with defect that cannot be analyzed in previous papers by Fuda et al. (Quantum Inf Process 18:203–226, 2017; J Math Phys 59:082201, 2018). To this end, we have developed new technique which allow us to use spectral mapping theorem for one-defect model. We also derive time-averaged limit measure one-dimensional case as an application analysis.

A Modified Multi Time Step Integration for Dynamic Analysis
In this paper new implicit higher order accuracy (N-IHOA) time integration based on assumption of constant time step is presented for dynamic analysis. This method belongs to the category of the multi time step integrations. Here, current displacement and velocity are assumed to be functions of the velocities and accelerations of several previous time steps, respectively. This definition causes...
متن کاملDirac Cellular Automaton from Split-step Quantum Walk
Simulations of one quantum system by an other has an implication in realization of quantum machine that can imitate any quantum system and solve problems that are not accessible to classical computers. One of the approach to engineer quantum simulations is to discretize the space-time degree of freedom in quantum dynamics and define the quantum cellular automata (QCA), a local unitary update ru...
متن کاملSpectral Structure of Quantum Line with a Defect
With the progress of the nanotechnology, it has become possible to manufacture quantum systems with desired specification. The theoretical study of simple quantum system with nontrivial properties is now a legitimate and relevant subject in wider context outside of mathematical physics. It has been lately pointed out that one of such simple model systems of the idealized quantum wire with a sin...
متن کاملTwo-dimensional quantum random walk
We analyze several families of two-dimensional quantum random walks. The feasible region (the region where probabilities do not decay exponentially with time) grows linearly with time, as is the case with one-dimensional QRW. The limiting shape of the feasible region is, however, quite different. The limit region turns out to be an algebraic set, which we characterize as the rational image of a...
